Over 40s State Titles Tamworth

The Central Coast Cyclones Over 40’s recently participated in the inaugural NSW State Over 40’s T20 Tournament in Tamworth, fielding four teams: Green, Gold, Red, and Blue. It was a fantastic event, with outstanding performances and camaraderie across the board.

The Green Team placed 2nd, winning four of five matches, while the Gold Team secured 7th place with two wins. Despite not recording wins, the Red and Blue Teams enjoyed the tournament with plenty of laughter and great sportsmanship.

Individual standouts included Stuart Lockyer’s remarkable batting average of 95, Chris Becker’s impressive debut with 102 runs, and Jason Blackwood’s 7 wickets, ranking second-highest overall in the carnival.

A heartfelt thanks to team captains Jason Blackwood, Huw Griffiths, Ray Hill, and Mark Chapman for their leadership on and off the field.
